Best Resume Format

meron ba kayong mga format ng resume na sa tingin nyo ok na ok?

yung resume ko kasi 6 pages... mali daw yun dapat mga 1 or 2 pages lang at mga highlights lang ng career at hinde daw dapat ilahad ang mga nagawang projects. 

paano ba dapat? wala kasi akong makitang resume format for development engineers para doon ko maipattern.. 

how about sa mga napasukan nyong companies na hinde related sa aapplyan nyo? nilalagay pa rin ba sa resume yun?

The primary differences between a resume and a curriculum vitae (CV) are the length, what is included and what each is used for. A resume is a one or two page summary of your skills, experience and education. While a resume is brief and concise - no more than a page or two, a Curriculum Vitae is a longer (at least two page) and more detailed synopsis.

sa tingin ko lang po based sa nga narinig ko HR people do not have the luxury of time for scanning all resumes/CV lalo na pag mahaba mas nakaka tamad basahin. So again opinion ko lang po to ha, I would prefer to pass a resume, atmost three pages. basta super highlighted yung skills mo and whatever you have to offer, hindi na kailangan ilagay lahat ng seminars/trainings/projects etc...basta ung mga major lang, or ung mga most recent. pwede mo din lagyan  lang ng note aftfer each category that goes something like this..... "A detailed list of projects/seminars etc.. may be provided upon request"

Sayang na reformat ung Hard disk ko may compilation pa naman ako ng mga resumes dun, check ko email ko baka meron pa mga nakasave, pag may medyo maganda ipopost ko...

sir sevenstring.. share ko lang po.. bago ko mag-apply sa ojt ko.. nakita ko tong site na to... tapos may article siya bout sa resumes.. di sya technical na tao pero nagkaroon daw ng time kung saan siya yung nagbabasa at tumatanggap ng resumes.. humingi ako ng tulong sa kanya at inayos nya resume ko.. at ok naman yung kinalabasan..pwede nyo rin pareview sa kanya yung resume nyo.. baka makatulong sa inyo sir...

heheheheh... hinde... bigla kasi kinuha kasi ng pinsan ko na nasa US yung resume ko... di pa kasi organized ang resume ko kaya baka sa basurahan ang deretcho nun... hehehehe

I dont what the difference is between a CV and a resume is.  Ang alam ko lang, ang resume ay american term mostly used in the US and american influenced countries.  CV is a term used in UK and european influenced countries.

Don't believe what the books tell you that you need short concise resumes.  It will depend on the nature of your work.  They are not really applicable all the times for technical related resumes.  HR people only do the pre-evaluation and would still pass on the resumes to the actual hiring manager who most probably will also came from a technical background.  In that case, details and specifics are more important as they would be looking for specific skills required for the job.
