for distribution madali talaga ang AC.

if kailangan talaga to choose only one..

Grin

every motor is AC, ginawan lang ng way 'yung DC motor para ma-convert sa AC para umikot.

it's easier to convert AC to DC than vice versa.

sa transmission posibleng mas efficient ang DC dahil magagamit niya 'yung buong wire (walang skin effect), pero sa 60Hz baka maliit lang din ang skin effect. ang mahirap sa DC, conversion from one voltage to another. DC to AC to DC (DC to DC) converter muna.

basta DC parin ako hehehe. kasi AC is based on DC nireverse mulang yung connection/flow eh hehehehe AC cannot exist without DC but DC can exist without AC... hehehe

Wink

merong bansa na DC ang outlet nila ('di ko na maalala), 4 prong outlet, around 150V ata ang voltage, and they live for years with it.

ang advantage ng DC sa transmission is reduced skin effect (actually 0 skin effect), inductance due to wires is considered a short, power factor may not be a major concern.

ang disadvantage, transformation to other voltage. 'di ganung kadali than AC. one more concern e tulad nung sa telepono, negative voltage dapat ang i-transmit. Grin
