The most simple and most effective power saving device is a SWITCH. Turn off all unused electrical devices! I disagree, yung plug ang tunay na powersaving, unplug mo lahat. Or the best yung main switch ng bahay sa breaker, i-off mo lang. |

I disagree, yung plug ang tunay na powersaving, unplug mo lahat. Or the best yung main switch ng bahay sa breaker, i-off mo lang.

Master Electron, I want to learn the OTHER way of saving electricity for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY! I already knew the JUMPER THEORY, UPSIDE DOWN METER THEORY, TWO JUMPER WIRE THEORY, NEIGHBOR TAPPING THEORY... ano pa po ba ang pwede ko malaman. I heard before from a good source from meralco na pwede daw sa old meters ang MAGNET THEORY, SLOWING THE METER THEORY ( tampering ). So meron pa po ba? |

Yes there are other alternative and free source of power. From solar, wind or tide. Seriously, efficiency of the design also affects much on power savings. Like insulation of refrigerators. A good insulation means less heat to go in and less power to make it cool. Likewise putting curtains, carpet and insulated ceilings in your air conditioned room. Insulations also in electric ovens or heat channels for electric stoves. Some power savings tip (not related to electricty) on battery devices: Using switching regulators and not linear. Using class D design audio amplifiers. Having clock oscillators on microprocessors low (~32Khz). Or putting it to sleep. Using CMOS instead of TTL. Using low bias current, high value pull-ups. Using MOSFETs instead of BJT. Using LCD instead of LED displays. |

Yes, the sources are free but to implement will cost you much. Reasons why these are available mostly on developed countries. For now, i'll stick with your advice on power saving tips. great list. thanks |
