I was an IEEE member last year.
It was ok. I got SPECTRUM magazines mailed to the office.
I registered so that we can have lesser cost on online purchase of technical documents on the IEEE site.
But I did not renew this year. Maybe if I need to purchase another document I may renew again.

Membership for IEEE is too expensive, but they don't issue a membership certificate. Also, the membership ID is of poor quality and without even photo of member.
