may naisip akong ibang option kaya lang mahal...pero at least "modern" ehehehe.

USB HSDPA modem + USB Host MCU (Vinculum)

http://microcontrollershop.com/product_info.php?products_id=2559

less than 1k nalang ang modems ngayon (Smartbro, tattoo) tapos $24.50 (2.5k?) yung MCU. so less than 5k pa din yun (e-gizmo gsm module). at least yung dalawang components ay pwedeng gamitin for other functions, di lang bilang GSM Module. Smiley

wow astig ito, meron na pala nito

Gud day poh senio...asking 4 help lang poh..naaprove poh thesis nmn..kelangan poh nmn ng microcontroller that can analyze SMS..nu poh b maiisuggest niong microcontroller ska possible poh bang maanalyze ng gsm module ung sms without opening manually the message...sna poh matulungan nio kme....

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!! Wink Wink

hardware-wise, the best solution ang gumamit ng bluettooth module. Quite cheap actually, provided you have the phone already

phone with BT + BT module + mcu

Check sir zero's bt module

kung bluetooth module + bluetooth phone and mcu,,magiging reliable poh b ung execution ng commands i mean ndi b xa mgkakaron ng execution na error compare to  the 6210 + PIC16F877a or simply san poh b magiging ms reliable sa two method na pwede nameng gamtin and most of all mas madaling gawin pra sa beginner programmers ng PIC... Huh

programming-wise, medyo mahirap nga ang programming ng bt module for the beginner. Hardware-wise, madali lang i-assemble. Is is realiable of course

I suggest using bt module kasi madaling makuha ang mga gamit and you can use almost any phone with bt

^ yung BT module you can connect to your Proteus model using the COMPIM component. Since it uses AT commands, parang modem na rin ito.

Meron example project si sir zerowing.

GSM SMS Controller Using Bluetooth Cellular Phone and BTSerial1
http://www.electronicslab.ph/forum/index.php?topic=6411.0

You can use any PIC16F na meron UART (PIC16F877A, PIC16F88, PIC16F876, etc). You can buy the BT module from him.

hardware issues nga ang lumalabas kapag gumagamit ng 6210.... even though given na ni atrox yung hex file, all you have to do is construct it.

para saakin, the safe path it to use a gsm modem.considering the balance of money and time and effort, tancha ko, panalo pa din ang gsm modem, especially kung may TTL interface tulad nung BENQ.

cool yung using BT kasi mura ang implementation. pwede pa ngang i automate ang pagpipili ng BTphone na kokonekan ng module. kunyari ang apps sa bahay ninyo, apat kayo sa bahay... tatay, nanay, ate at ikaw. kung di successful sayo yung sending, or di ka available (nasa laskwatsahan kasama BF Grin Grin Grin ), automatic hahanapin yung BTphone ng tatay mo or yung kay nanay or kay ate.
