complementary symmetry A circuit using both pnp and npn transistors in a symmetrical arrangement that permits push-pull operation without an input transformer or other form of phase inverter.
common na yan sa mga amplifers ngaun
check mo dito
about konzert 502
example yun ng comp symmetry

..`hmmmm tnx poh..
..`pd fuh vah paki explain e2..?
..`Complementary symmetry A pnp transistor s used w/ an npn transistor to provide complementary current variations for the same input signal.as one current increases, the other decreases.the purpose is to elimiate the need for a push full drive. Furtheremore, a stacked series output circiut can be used,w/c eliminate the output transformer . as a result, the typical comp..symmetry audio output circuit in fig. 3-12 is completely transformer less. ..`input circuit in the fig. 3-12 the audio signal s coupled to both q1 and q2 by ci. The single ended input delivers the same polarity to both transistors but one is pnp and the other npn. Assume the audio input signal increases positively in a positive direction. The positive base voltage for q2, w/c is npn, increases ic. However more positive base voltage for the pnp transistor q1, decreases 1c2 for this transistor. On the next half cycle, the negative signal makes the base less positive for both transistors. Then ic decreases the pnp transistor. The result is push pull collector current for the output signal, even though the circuit has single ended input signal at the base of q1 and q2 resistors r1 to r3 use forward bias in the base circuit. In fig.3-12 transistor q1 and q2 are stacked in series for v+.the two emitters are connected together part of v+ supplies positive vce for q1. However, the ther part of v+ is the emitter voltage on q2. The positive v+ corresponds to negative collector voltage for the pnp transistor.
