+/- voltage regulators: which is better to us?zener, regulators, ic's or opamps?

plan ko po kasi iparallel yung mga regulators <positive to positive and negative to negative and i used a center tapped transformer>
kaya lang i'm not quite sure of the values i have to use for my circuit components...help po!

nakita ko sa isang robot battle sa tv. ang ginawa nila is naka parallel yung regulators na 12 volts. is it ok?! i think naka current regulator mode ata for dc motors just incase na may mag short or something.

better start to draw the schematic you have in mind and post it here, mas madali ma-analyze ang circuit. saka  na lalagyan ng values ng current rating ng xformer, fuses, caps, etc...

ayan na poh..i do not put any values para madali mamodify 
then yung sure lang po jan is yung regulators, i'll be using lm317, lm337, 7812, 7912, 7805, 7905, to generate +/- 12V, +/- 5V, +/-3.3V..

i'm not quite sure of the capacitors, fuse and transformer to be used..i want to make this project be convenient to use by the other user...

sa transformer ko po, di ko alam kung 24-0-24 @ 2A, 24-0-24 @ 3A or 18-0-18 @ 3A...yun lang kasi po pinagpipilian namen...

then yung capacitors ko po ay di ko alam kung anong value gagamitin ko..pero malimit ko po makita sa samples ng data sheets ng  regulators mostly .1uF gamit nila sa input & output...

please help me decide po...thanx
