update from directory: 1st of all download all update files from avg site. then save all all files on your flash drives.
          then on your avg interface click on tools>update from directory. then browse the file on your flash that you've recently downloaded. then click update. after updating. try to run update from directory again until avg can't find new update. it means you're update is finished.

may talong este tanong po ako....sapat na ba ang internet security lang ang nakainstall sa pc? o kelangan may antivirus pang nakainstall....

Norton IS 2009 tsaka avast 4.8 pro edition po ang currently installed sa pc nmen...

pwede mo pag samahin ang dalawang anti virus na yan. compatible yan. babagal nga lang sa start up pero safe ka nman. to answer your question i prefer avira than avg kung gusto mo lang mamimili sa dalawa.

Gusto ko kc sa AVG ung offline update nya.. la kc kmi antivirus... tulad sa http://free.avg.com/download?prd=afe#tba4

yes meron din ang avira. download ka din ng update sa site nila then open mo avira. click update sa fulldown menu then click mo manual apdate and select the directory from where you put all downloaded files.

db pwede naman po bawasan ung mga umaandar sa start up gamit ang msconfig

recent problem ko po with my laptop:
1) nawala folder options.. diko tuloy makita hidden files
2) disabled ang task manager khit nasa administrator account naman ako naka-log
3) ayaw mawala ng New Folder sa D:/  kahit ilang ulit kong burahin (hindi naman po ito file 
    folder, application ang nakalagay sa properties, 327kB)
4) AVG Free gamit ko, after full scan walang namang nadedetect..
    during start-up may nadedetect na threat (autorun.ini).. nareremove naman kaya lang pag
    nagopen ulit ako ng laptop andun na naman,paulit ulit lang.. diba dapat once na maremove
    na, wala nang madedetect the next time i open my pc?

is there a problem with AVG? o system na po may problema?

i need expert advice po.. kakareformat lang po kc ng laptop early this january..sayang naman kung masisira ulit.. pls. pls.

hi weng, good day sa'yo..advice k sayo..update your anti-virus to the latest update..after that..perform a full scan through your computer..after the full scan..kung may na detect na di maganda...follow what the anti-virus recommended action..and then..gawin mo to...

1. on the start menu..punta ka sa run...then on the text box..type gpedit.msc..that is you open the group policy window..on that window,

2. select by double clicking the administrative templates..and then select system folder on the local computer policy..

3.then select the folder Ctrl+alt+del options folder..then select Remove Task Manager..and then configure mo sya..you can see there the three options..the not configure, enable, and disable..select enable..then ok...then close the group policy window...

4. and..repeat step 1 to 3 except...this time you are going to select not configured or disable..then ok..then close the group policy..

.....try open the task manager ...kung ok na ba..^_^

bout sa folder options na nawala...di ko pa alam yun..^_^pero ang mabisa solution dun ay ang reformat mo ang C which the default drive for the system...sana makatulong..

Yung code copy mo. Try running notepad then ilagay mo yung code galing kay master gigs. Save as batch file or may extension na .bat "FolderOptions.bat" gaya ng nasabi. Tapos run mo para ilagay sa registry para ma-activate yung folder option uli.

Pero kung active pa yung bulate baka ibalik nya lang uli sa no folder options.
