ta3 yang virus na yan., kagabi lang., kala ko format nalang ang solusyon., well., nagawan ko naman ng paraan., just run system restore., well., anyways., im using windows vista., so indi ko alam kung effective to sa xp., pero try nyo baka lang gumana., uhmmm., first., turn on/reset ur pc., then on the start up menu., select., start windows in safe mode with "COMMAND PROMPT"., then., in the command prompt window., type., rstrui.exe to run system restore., thats it., then system restore ur pc to the earliest state na hindi mo pa na encounter ung virus na yun., then w8., up to.,, hmmm., i've waited up to i think 30 minutes., before my crappy vista shutted down., hehehe., then ayun boila!!! wala na sya., kung alam mo kung sang folder galing ung virus., delete mo na agad., para wala ka na prob., hope this helps.,,

It then modifies the following registry entry to disable System Restore: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SystemRestore\"DisableSR" = "1" nakalagay pala yan dun sa description ng worm na ito., i have no idea kung pano ko nakapag system restore??? idk., maybe my computer wasnt that much infected., pero try nyo na agad yan.,, maybe that's one of the worse case scenarios., where u have to format ur hard disk.,

well i have made a little tool to enable or disable your system restore..ginawa ko yun last year.. payo lang before system restoring...in my own experience that's why i dont recommend system restoring in malware removals... 3x nangyari saken when i restored my system from system restore.. i cant acess all my folders na nilipat ko after the restore point na pinagrestoran ko=) i dont know if it is the main reason why..pero 3x ] and also i dont believe that system restore can fully remove the malware itself from your system just by using system restore...well depende na lang din sa pagkakabuo ng virus na yun..=) reformatting your computer is not a good solution lalo na kung maraming installed na programs sa PC mo or maraming importante dun... basta...heheh we hate those technicians who always ended up reformatting lalo na yung malware issue... minsan nga nagBSOD lang format na agad bayrus daw..kainis.=)

uhmmm., for malwares., malwarebytes is the easiest solution., and it's totally free.,and fully functional., this classified thingy is not classified as a malware but a worm.,
"If you are running Windows Me or Windows XP, we recommend that you temporarily turn off System Restore. Windows Me/XP uses this feature, which is enabled by default, to restore the files on your computer in case they become damaged. If a virus, worm, or Trojan infects a computer, System Restore may back up the virus, worm, or Trojan on the computer.
Windows prevents outside programs, including antivirus programs, from modifying System Restore. Therefore, antivirus programs or tools cannot remove threats in the System Restore folder. As a result, System Restore has the potential of restoring an infected file on your computer, even after you have cleaned the infected files from all the other locations."
nabasa ko lang yan., so do my solution at ur own risk., if u have encountered some viruses before, they might infect u again if ur system restore folder is infected by ur previous restores., n_n uulitin ko., do it at ur own risk., dont blame me ha., n_n

search for the meaning of malware first before saying that..=)(sorry kung medjo may pagkamataray) =)
ok na ba ang malwarebytes ngayon? daming nasira nyan nung bagong bersyon nila...hehe... dont know if ok na ang realtime protection nila..back then kasi advisable lang sya for removals/manual scanning... but in realtime protection.....hindi=)
i personally turned off system restore... =) i dont want them..and some of the malwares residing from it..so everytime your computer boots up...hello again..=) locate your system volume information folder first..makikita nyo ang impakta=)

malwares are actually "malicious" programs that tries to install "malicious" sofwares to or in ur pc., n_n with this worms case., i dont find it "malicious" so i would consider it as a worm that crawls into my system., n_n theres actually a fine line between malwares, worms and viruses., so. that's it., thats just it., hmm., anyways., wiki is not an accurate source., n_n
