<p>Did you ever noticed that the main page of Google is encoded in morse code? That is because today is the birthday of Samuel Morse; the inventor of the first practical telegraph and of course the morse code.  Samuel Finley Breese Morse (April 27, 1791 – April 2, 1872)  was actually an  American painter of portraits and historic scenes. Later, he invented the practical telegraph because of his interest on electromagnetism and the first commercial telegraph invented by Cooke and Wheatstone. The telegraph invented by Cooke and Wheatsone uses several pairs of wires and is more expensive to maintain and install, The telegraph invented by Samuel Morse uses a pair of wire and is relatively cheaper.</p>
