-The MS Series allows engineers to easily plug in our electrical shunt directly to most direct current (D.C.) digital multi-meters, indicating accurate current measurements up to 50 amperes across a wide temperature span from -65°C. to +275°C. The MS Series is ideal for a variety of meters, increasing their capabilities, enabling D.C. readings from meters that only have a voltage measuring function, converting a voltage meter to an ampere meter. These low-cost premium shunts are equipped with heavy duty commercially pure copper test leads. Four terminal leads are also available for very accurate current sensing applications with extremely low EMF emitted. If you are looking for an easy and inexpensive method to test for high current in charging systems for motorcycles, ATVs, personal water crafts & other recreational type vehicles, then PRC’s popular MS-40 Meter Shunts are the clear choice. The MS Series can be customized for 50 mV & 100 mV applications, available in a wide variety of ohmic values up to 100 ohms, tolerances to 0.005% & T.C.R. characteristics to 10 parts per million (ppm). Our standard MS-40 is in stock, readily available for immediate sale and delivery via our online store, please visit: www.precisionresistor.com for more details on utilizing the volt drop method.

PRC is a worldwide custom manufacturer of precision electronic components including precision fixed wire wound resistors, sensors, shunts & compensators for critical applications. Resistors have low EMF of less than 0.3 to 1.5 micro-volts per degrees C with respect to the copper terminals. Features of resistors include lower temperature rise per watt, low TCR & low EMF, repeatable measurements under load, low ohmic values to 1 milli-ohm, closer resistance tolerances of plus/minus 0.005 percent and operation over a wide temperature span & great stability under load. Additional features include wide variety of shapes & sizes, measurable & predictable voltage/temperature relationship piece-to-piece, high temperature insulation & assorted diameters of pure copper lead sizes. Capabilities also include short & long production runs, customization to buyer specifications & no minimum quantity orders. Industries served include electronics & computer fields among many others. Meets DIN standards & RoHS compliant. N.I.S.T. traceability and tape & reel services are also available.

Fully Calibrated Humidity and Temperature Sensor

The ChipCap series humidity sensor offers a new standard in the field of accurate relative humidity measurement. Based on a capacitive polymer sensing technology, this device offers signal conditioning and temperature compensation for a single SoC (System-on-Chip) solution. The device is very simple to use, fully tested and calibrated for accuracy on delivery—no further calibration is needed.

Product Description

ChipCap can be incorporated into an assembly or finished sensor to meet customer specifications. The measurement is accurate to ± 2% from 20% to 80%RH and ± 3% across the entire humidity range. Long term stability is excellent. The temperature accuracy is ± 1°C from 0°C to +70°C. Dual outputs provide humidity and temperature as 0V to 1V, or 0.5V to 4.5V ratiometric or available with digital output (the ZACwire one-wire interface).
