If you are a beginner in PIC programming the best thing for you would be to start programming PIC in BASIC language. Why use BASIC ? Because the syntax is easier to remember and understand. A very good resource site for studying pic programming in the BASIC Language is the site of MIKROE:

this is one of the best tutorials for PIC. eto ang gamit ko nung nag-aaral pa lang ako ng PIC.

yup! kahit na BASIC ang gamit na language, madali siya iport to C dahil may comments sa tabi… the best ang site na yan… highly recommended for all levels… ;D
